Inter-/Transcultural Coachings

In intercultural coaching, the focus is on your very specific situation. I will help you develop new perspectives and solutions through systematic analysis and knowledge input.

To all people who find themselves in trans/intercultural situations privately or professionally and would like support. This can be the case, for example, in intercultural partnerships and working relationships, with managers, international projects or foreign assignments.

In principle, all topics that have to do with our different patterns of thinking, feeling and acting. When our differences lead to (subtle or obvious) misunderstandings and conflicts, we can learn through coaching to take on different perspectives to better understand each other and build on this to change our interaction patterns.

In a trans-/intercultural training you will acquire intercultural competence by imparting basic knowledge, self-reflection and communication techniques. In a coaching session, all content is tailored specifically to your specific situation.

Concept

Inter-transcultural coaching is individual and can be designed flexibly depending on the situation and needs. In principle, coaching takes place in four steps:

1. Clarification of the situation: The situation is described and explained by listening and asking questions. The focus is on aspects such as perceptions, interpretations, emotions, needs and general conditions.

2. Goal setting: We often feel the desire for change, but cannot yet formulate exactly what this might look like. That's why an important step in coaching is to clarify your own goals: What do I want? Where should something change? In which direction should change go? Which objectives are realistic?

3. Analysis and strategy development: This is about the question of how we can achieve our goals. The situation is analyzed to enable an understanding of the current state. Situation-related knowledge input and changes in perspective enable the recognition of scope for action and the development of practical, solution-oriented action strategies.

4. Reflection: In order to make coaching sustainable, the application and implementation of the developed action strategies is reflected together and corrected if necessary.
