Intercultural Training

“If we could understand the reasons for other people’s behavior, everything would suddenly make sense.”

Intercultural Communication

Intercultural competence is the ability to perceive cultural differences, deal with them respectfully and fully exploit their potential.

Because we are constantly dealing with people who feel, think and act differently than we do - whether at work or in our private lives. Too often, these differences lead to unnecessary misunderstandings and conflicts. Cultural competence enables respectful, joyful and productive interactions.

First of all, you will receive systematic and exciting basic knowledge about culture, communication and cultural differences. Building on this, you will get to know your own cultural imprints and their effects on your behavior. In order to be able to deal well with potential conflict situations, we practice culturally sensitive communication techniques. Depending on the format, the focus is on general aspects, your personal situation or the cohesion of your team.

The term “inter” means between and focuses on communication between different people/groups. “Trans” means through or across and emphasizes that people are cultural hybrids and are shaped by different cultural influences - so we are all a little different.

Training concept

It is often a question of knowledge and perception as to whether we can deal with cultural differences in a relaxed and competent manner and make targeted use of their opportunities and potential. Here you can strengthen your cultural competence by

1) systematic knowledge input

2) impulses for self-reflection (analysis of your personal situation and behavioral patterns)

3) practical competence to act (culturally sensitive communication techniques, identification of personal development potential)
